Anna Maria Enos
I was deeply saddened to hear that our dear Anna Maria has lost her battle with cancer. My understanding is she left us last week on Wednesday, October 19th. Though she had long suffered with her illness, often in severe pain, Anna Maria never complained. She was always smiling, upbeat, and encouraging everyone else when she was the one who needed it the most.
Many of you are not aware that Anna Maria was my one of my greatest supporters, my cheerleader. She was beside me every minute through all the tough times. Her friendship was more than verbal encouragement, she was very ‘Hands On’. When we moved to 100 West Main as a temporary location, Anna Maria helped me hand mop the filthy floor and move in all my equipment. Later, when we moved to our current location, Anna Maria spent entire days with me helping to set up the studio.
When we finally settled into the new studio, Anna Maria was the smiling face at the reception desk. She encouraged so many of you and I know it was her kindness and encouragement that helped make Healthy Habit Fitness what it is today. One of my favorite things was just after we moved to the new studio, Anna Maria encouraged all the ladies to come to classes more often. They would car pool to classes and I could hear them coming up the steps laughing heartily. What a wonderful blessing for me to watch them become the best of friends and finally “THE BOD'S”.
I really believe that if Anna Maria had not stood so firmly by me in those early years that I wouldn't be here today with you as the wonderful group of friends you all are now at Healthy Habit Fitness.
For nearly a year now we have not seen a lot of Anna Maria because of the decline in her health. Prior to that she attended most every yoga class and Zumba on schedule.
Our prayers are with her family, especially Dick who was also a member and good friend of Healthy Habit Fitness. Anna Maria will be missed as she has been missed so much for the past year. Our hearts are heavy with the loss but we take comfort in believing that she is no longer suffering. We'll see you in heaven Anna Maria.
