Healthy Habit Fitness began in January of 2005
by owner, Kim Camp with the goal of assisting others to develop healthy
habits for weight management, dis‘ease’ and disease prevention, and
building strong, lean, flexible, energetic bodies.
Kim began working in fitness in 1978 under the guidance of former Mr.
America John DeCola. After the birth of her two sons, she opened a
small gym offering weight resistance and classes. Over the years she has taught a
variety of aerobic classes, step aerobic classes,
weight resistance, water aerobics, Aqua Kick Boxing, and AquaticIntervals.
Kim has served as an instructor around the area at a variety of gyms and community centers and senior centers teaching water aerobics, yoga and personal training. She is certified with ACE (American Council of Exercise) and teaches for WITS (World Instructor Training Schools) at Hagerstown Community College. Always continuing her fitness education, in June 2007 she was trained as a Zumba® Instructor and in July she became a Zumba® Gold Instructer. Since then she has attended her third Zumba® Instructor Training workshop in October 2007 and a workshop led by Beto, the creator of Zumba®, in June of 2008.
Kim’s extensive background in fitness training allows her to provide members with knowledgeable assistance and instruction.
